Moet & Chandon's Grande Vintage 2016 showcases exceptional French winemaking in a year of climatic extremes. After six years of careful cellar maturation, this champagne delivers remarkable finesse and complexity. The refined dry finish (extra brut dosage) allows the vintage's distinctive character to shine through. This champagne opens with delicate breadcrumb and brioche aromas, followed by floral notes of elderflower and jasmine, then fruit characteristics of white peach and watermelon, finishing with subtle garrigue and fresh almond. The taste is direct yet enveloping, with refreshing aniseed and mentholated nuances that lead to a lingering finish with elegant sparkle.
