In the bustling heart of London lies Exmouth Market, a true hidden gem celebrated for its mix of quirky independent shops, eclectic boutiques, and diverse eateries. However, Annabel and Conrad didn't select this spot for their wedding celebration merely for its chic ambience; it was a heartfelt nod to where their story began.
Fast forward to their wedding day, and the beautiful Bourne & Hollingsworth became the backdrop of their wedding reception. Inspired by the grandeur of a stately home, Annabel and Conrad danced the night away amidst lush botanicals and rich fabrics bathed in soft ambient lighting. Not to forget - a live brass band!
"Our first date was in Clerkenwell, so we knew we wanted to be near there as it holds special meaning for us," Annabel explained. "Bourne and Hollingsworth was perfect because it's located in the heart of Exmouth Market and is beautifully dressed – I'm a producer for work, so I didn't want to treat our wedding like a project."
Before the reception, Annabel and Conrad exchanged vows at Islington Town Hall, a venue renowned for its elegant facade and sweeping marble staircases. As residents of the area, they chose this sentimental and convenient location, which offered ample accommodation options for their guests.
And between the ceremony and reception, the newlyweds even managed to steal a few moments together at their favourite (dive) bar where they had their first date, becoming the couple's favourite wedding day memory.
"Walking through Exmouth Market where we had our first date, hearing our band in the distance waiting for our arrival, everyone dancing in the street (which happened to have all parking suspended out of sheer luck) was just so special"

Extraordinary Adventures and Everyday Essentials
Annabel and Conrad's wedding registry blends once-in-a-lifetime experiences with everyday luxuries. Their list featured highlights such as a breathtaking helicopter ride over the Hawaiian islands and a four-course dinner at the renowned Cigalon, mixed with homewares like plush bath towels from The White Company. Their selections illustrate that a wedding registry can really be anything your heart desires.
"We've recently bought a house, and it's been really lovely opening all our new crockery, framing our wedding photos, and seeing my bridal bouquet in our wedding vase that our guests bought us.
The most memorable gift was donations to a helicopter trip on our honeymoon in Hawaii. Our guests were so generous, and it was incredible! We went off the coast of Kauai and saw a whale breach underneath us!"
