The Vista Alegre porcelain factory was founded in 1824, in &Iacute;lhavo, central Portugal, born of the dream of a visionary Portuguese gentleman. More than 175 years later, throughout a route that has produced a vast portfolio of products closely associated with the history and cultural life of Europe, a merger took place between the Vista Alegre group and the Atlantis group, forming the largest national group of tableware and giftware, and one of the largest in the industry worldwide: the Vista Alegre Atlantis Group.
