Green &amp; Blue are based in the beautiful seaside town of Perranporth in Cornwall, co-founded in 2005 by husband and wife team Kate and Gavin Christman. After years working at Dyson and designing in their spare time, Kate and Gavin created the Birdball and moved down to Cornwall to start the company. They both share their passion for designing beautiful, stylish products that help wildlife. Green and Blue are also a certified B-corp, which means they are part of a group of certified &lsquo;benefit corporations&rsquo; meeting the highest standards for social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. They strive to keep the utmost quality in three aspects: design, production and their relation to people and the planet. They do not think of sustainability and profit as contradictions and measure their success not just on profitability but also in relation to people and the planet. They believe passionately that every new house built needs to provide a home for wildlife as well as for us. With so many species in decline, we have to rethink the way we plan, build and manage both housing and within our own gardens.
