Taken in 1936, this iconic photograph depicts an elephant named Mae West accepting an apple from a passing tram driver while taking her morning exercise along Gray's Inn Road, London. Mae was helping to publicise the Christmas bazaar at Gamages department store at the time.

This photograph is a Giclee Fine Art Print, printed digitally using pigment-based inks on Baryta paper.  This printing process guarantees sharp details and vivid colours, as well as high density and tone. This beautiful artwork will arrive stamped and will also be provided with a certificate of authenticity.
