Renowned for his photography work depicting high society over half a century, Slim Aarons captured the golden age of wealth, privilege, beauty and leisure that occurred alongside—but quite separate from—the cultural and political backdrop of the Twentieth Century. Taken in 1958, this snapshot features holidaymakers of the time waterskiing from the pier of the Carlton Hotel in Cannes, France.
Printed from the original scanned transparency housed in the Getty Images Archive, each copy of this beautiful artwork is stamped and provided with a certificate of authenticity. Each frame uses a traditional painted wood with a classic 4" mount and features a wire for effortless hanging.
