Slim Aarons - Coming Ashore Framed photograph, H71 x W56cm
Renowned for his photography work depicting high society over half a century, Slim Aarons captured the golden age of wealth, privilege, beauty and leisure that occurred alongside—but quite separate from—the cultural and political backdrop of the Twentieth Century. Taken in 1973, this elevated view gazes upon a Magnum motorboat belonging to Count Filippo Theodoli at the private jetty of the Il Pellicano Hotel in Porto Ercole, Italy.
