Atlantic Blankets began in 2007 in North Cornwall; born out of the need to find the cosiest, softest blanket to comfort a child. Today the company, run by family team Gemma and Al, is located in the coastal village of Perranporth, where they design beautiful blankets that help create happy memories. Every product has been designed by them in Cornwall, taking inspiration from their ocean surroundings, and made with their traditional mill partners across Britain. The Atlantic ocean is a key part of who they are; it's what surrounds us, and what inspires them. A visit to the beach or the coast and the sense you get when looking out to, or being immersed in the sea is a feeling like no other. There&rsquo;s a sense of calm, peace, and overall happiness. Every blanket comes with a handpicked shell from the beach to heighten that connection further. Dedicated to making everything within Britain, they use traditional methods and mills that help to enrich the British wool industry. Not only this, but Atlantic Blankets also use recycled materials such as old t-shirts and recycled cotton wherever possible.
