African Storage basket, 25 x 40cm, Natural/Blue Diamonds

This is the ideal shaped storage basket: big enough to hold a wide range of objects but isn't too deep, so you can easily find them. The perfect storage solution for toys, throws and even logs. This range of baskets also stacks to be a feature in a room whilst saving space. Made by artisan women from a village near Thiès in Senegal, this basket is weaved from local ndiorokh grass and long strips of salvaged plastic that are traditionally used for making bazin mats. No two baskets are exactly the same due to the intricate handmade nature of the product, and each basket arrives in its own reusable cotton drawstring bag, handmade in Senegal.
