La Brise Round laundry basket, 53 x 38cm, Dusk

A woven round laundry basket with a flat lid, that adds a contemporary feel to any room. This basket is the perfect size for linens, toys or blankets. Made by artisan women from a village near Thiès in Senegal, this basket is weaved from local ndiorokh grass and long strips of salvaged plastic that are traditionally used for making bazin mats. No two baskets are exactly the same due to the intricate handmade nature of the product, and each basket arrives in its own reusable cotton drawstring bag, handmade in Senegal.
