The Froment family first started working in the cutlery business in 1963 in a small workshop created by Camille Froment. Founded in 2002 by his son Philippe, Capdeco first opened its doors in Thiers - the French capital of the cutlery industry and where knives have been made for over 600 years. Today with Edouard Froment, representing the 3rd generation of cutler, Capdeco continues to create traditional cutlery designs with fresh, modern updates.
